[FanArt] Ahri

Ahri is in the house!! 😀 Another addition to my slowly building League of Legends art!!!

Art is still on the slow route, as I took a two week break(I think….) before actually sitting down and finishing this piece. (and writing this blog post!!!!) I loved it from the initial sketch, but a combination of work + video games coming out (FIRE EMBLEM!!! <3) that I haven’t had the time to sit down and complete it.

Ahir was an interesting character to draw. I wanted to keep her sexy appeal, but still keep her cute. During the initial sketch I was forgetting a few details here and there. I had to remember to count how many tails she had, and completely forgot she had a braid. I was probably used to her other skins to not realize she had a braid (aka Pop Star Ahri), but in the end I liked that adding her braid was able to balance the composition of the overall piece

This ended up being one of my favorite pieces, and so happy with the way it turned out. I had fun inking and coloring. I had to make friends with the smudge tool to get the nice ghostly spirit effect. It took me HOURS to get her spirit sphere the way I wanted it to be, but happy with the turn out!

Right now I am working on some original prints (preparing for Otakon), and maybe a Fire Emblem print. 🙂
